Moving and Positioning of People and/or Loads

This course provides staff with the essential knowledge and understanding for the safe process of moving people and loads to prevent injury to themselves and the person being moved, whilst also covering the legal requirements regarding the handling of people.

This Moving of People course is delivered in 3 hours.  We are able to offer a pracitical workshop to compliment this theoretical course.  During the workshop we support staff to safely and legally undertake the practical moving and positioning task involved in day to day support and care.

Staff attending should wear comfortable clothing, flat footwear and be medically fit.
